We are seeking a dedicated and creative Curriculum Developer to design and enhance educational materials and programs. This role will develop instructional materials, activities, assessments, and other resources to meet learning objectives. They will also evaluate the existing curriculum to determine if it meets current standards and ensure all students receive the best possible educational experience. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop curriculum materials, including lesson plans and assessments
  • Collaborate with educators and subject matter experts to ensure alignment with learning objectives
  • Conduct research or interview subject matter experts to develop instructional content
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into curriculum design
  • Evaluate and revise curriculum materials based on feedback and assessment data
  • Analyze student performance data to determine the effectiveness of instructional systems, courses, or materials
  • Make recommendations regarding course design, technology, and instruction delivery options 
  • Stay current on educational trends and best practices
  • Provide training and support to educators implementing curriculum materials

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience designing educational materials
  • Experience in curriculum planning, design, and development
  • Experience working with subject matter experts to develop accurate, relevant content
  • Knowledge of best practices in curriculum design and effective assessment strategies
  • Knowledge of pedagogical principles and learning theories
  • Knowledge of educational standards
  • Knowledge of digital learning tools and educational technology 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in education or a related field
