Our company is in need of a goal-oriented Channel Sales Manager to win, maintain, and expand partner relationships within the assigned territory. This role will support the organization’s ongoing sales and growth opportunities by providing channel sales support to a region or portfolio of assigned partners or customers. Toward this end, they will manage a team of channel sales representatives to meet or exceed sales quotas and work toward both short-term and long-term channel strategies and goals. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a channel sales strategy
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage relationships with channel partners
  • Serve as a liaison between customers/partners and the engineering team 
  • Access, clarify, and validate partner needs and maintain a high partner satisfaction rate
  • Coordinate with other sales channels to avoid potential conflicts and maximize sales
  • Provide training, support, and resources to enable partner success
  • Set and monitor sales targets and performance metrics
  • Manage funnels and forecast and seize sales opportunities
  • Drive and manage sales and marketing campaigns
  • Ensure that project and department goals are met in adherence with established budgets and timelines
  • Manage the day-to-day performance of the channel sales team 
  • Evaluate market trends and competitor actions to identify potential opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with partner agreements and contracts
  • Implement promotional and marketing activities to boost partner sales

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales
  • Experience successfully managing and growing channel partner relationships
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a sales or marketing team
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales management software
  • Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles
  • Knowledge of our industry and market, including key competitors and trends
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong strategic thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications or training in partner management or sales
