They will be responsible for ensuring the business delivers on its promises to clients, as well as that our organization provides an inclusive, supportive work environment for team members. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the business is running smoothly 
  • Manage all aspects of the company’s operations, including product development, customer service, and technology
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the organization 
  • Create and manage budgets, financial reports, and financial plans that align with the organization’s goals
  • Oversee the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that support the organization’s mission
  • Work with other members of the executive team to develop and execute our business strategy
  • Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process improvements 
  • Work closely with other departments, including technology, marketing, and finance, to ensure operations are aligned with business objectives 
  • Manage and mentor the organization’s staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Manage capital investments and expenses to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability 
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with partners, donors, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in operations
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior leadership role
  • Experience in fintech operations and technology, both in development and product management
  • Experience developing and implementing successful strategies to support the growth and sustainability of a company
  • Experience managing IT units and major IT implementation projects
  • Experience with project management 
  • Experience with budget development and monitoring, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Knowledge of risk management and compliance 
  • Knowledge of financial technology and software development 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic decision-making skills 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration or computer science
  • Experience with fundraising
