Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and oversee a robust tech roadmap aligned with the company’s strategic objectives
  • Define and communicate the technology vision and strategy for the organization
  • Lead efforts to optimize technology solutions for scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Lead the design of critical and high-impact technology components
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure consistency in technological principles and best practices
  • Collaborate with security teams to perform regular assessments and address potential vulnerabilities
  • Establish security protocols and risk management strategies to ensure the security and integrity of our platform and data
  • Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams
  • Lead and nurture a highly skilled technology team, fostering an environment of innovation and performance
  • Conduct in-depth technology reviews and provide feedback on architecture, design, and overall strategy
  • Implement processes and tools to enhance our overall technology efficiency
  • Drive the design and delivery of innovative fintech solutions to address the needs of our organization and clients
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in the technology industry, preferably in the fintech sector
  • 5+ years of experience in a technology leadership role
  • Experience overseeing end-to-end architecture
  • Experience with technology architecture and complex APIs
  • Experience leading teams in an agile environment
  • Experience with cloud platforms
  • Experience delivering complex technology projects from conception to production 
  • Proficiency in multiple technology domains
  • Thorough knowledge of technology architecture, design principles, and best practices
  • Knowledge of strategic technology planning
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong decision making and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related role
