We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide technical leadership in all aspects of our business. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy tailored to our organization’s business objectives, scalability, and operational efficiency
  • Create and manage the technology budget and oversee IT resource allocation
  • Monitor KPIs to assess technological performance
  • Build quality assurance and data protection processes
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, business units, and stakeholders to understand technology needs and drive technology related business initiatives
  • Work with leadership to set clear priorities and goals for IT management that balance long-term and immediate needs
  • Oversee the design and implementation of robust technical architectures, ensuring alignment with business requirements, security standards, and industry best practices
  • Implement and maintain efficient and reliable technology operations
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the technology teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners
  • Oversee the development and implementation of scalable and secure technology systems
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies
  • Identify and mitigate technology related risks, ensuring data privacy and security regulations compliance
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations for maintaining our technological edge
  • Identify and evaluate the latest technologies, assessing their potential for strategic advantage
  • Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a technology officer or in a technology leadership role
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure, budgets, software development, and system architecture
  • Experience leading complex projects and initiatives
  • Experience integrating teams across multiple business units
  • Experience designing and managing an effective IT governance framework
  • Experience driving digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience with cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of change management on an organizational and interpersonal level
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of software engineering, frameworks, techniques, and industry trends
  • Knowledge of technology trends and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong data-driven decision making skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP
  • Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies
