Product Design Jobs

We are looking for a Design Manager to help shape the aesthetic and functional aspects of our products and services. This role requires a sharp eye for visual detail as well as the ability to forecast design trends, understand customer needs, and integrate practical innovation into projects. As the liaison between the design team and other key business units, the Design Manager ensures the translation of strategic business goals into compelling market-ready products. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the creative process of projects, from concept to completion
  • Create innovative ideas and designs, and put them into a context that clients and team members can understand
  • Create design strategies and execution plans
  • Coordinate with clients, designers, and other team members to understand requirements and establish design goals
  • Supervise the design team, provide feedback, and monitor the quality of the design output
  • Manage project timelines and budgets
  • Ensure all designs meet quality standards and are delivered within budget and time constraints
  • Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders and management teams
  • Resolve design problems or issues that arise during the project
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to ensure designs are innovative and competitive
  • Continually review and implement improvements to the design process
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in design methodologies

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, fine arts, or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a design leadership role
  • Experience developing and implementing design strategy
  • Experience translating client requirements into actionable design plans
  • Proficiency with design software such as Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating breadth and depth in successful design projects
  • Thorough knowledge of the complete design process from brainstorming to end product
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong organization and project management skills
