When the VP of Software Engineering needed to build out his team recently he tapped Redfish Technology to find a Backend Engineer. The role would be building APIs and integrating external data sources. The ideal candidate would have experience building REST APIs and familiarity with AWS and NoSQL databases. Additionally the company was looking for someone who was equally enthusiastic about their social mission.
An Nguyen is a strong coder and a passionate engineer. Originally studying chemistry at Cal Berkeley, his love of software led him to transfer to the California State University Computer Science department where he worked as a student assistant and has been on the Dean’s list for two years as he completes his CS degree. An’s experience includes a full-time internship doing Python fullstack development and the creation of many independent projects and apps in C, Python and Java. He is outgoing and involved in activities ranging from cultural ambassador on campus to environmental clean-up and restoration to tutoring math and science. A high performer, An has been awarded a Math and Computer Department Scholarship at CSU, and was inducted into the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor society. An jumped at the opportunity to join this growth-mode health-tech company that shares a passion for healthy living and healthy code!
