Our company is seeking an Account Executive who has experience with the financial technology sector to join our growing team. This role will play a vital role in driving new business and accelerating our revenue growth. The Account Executive will leverage their expertise in FinTech or SaaS to identify and secure opportunities to expand into new markets. This is a leadership position that will manage and mentor a small team of representatives in addition to delivering results and achieving sales targets as an individual contributor.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle from create to close
  • Achieve sales targets by developing and executing a territory plan
  • Manage the sales pipeline
  • Support a team of sales representatives, fostering a culture of success while leading from the front as an individual contributor
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand into new markets and land new accounts
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge about our product suite and its value proposition for CFO offices
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, market trend reports, and performance metrics
  • Maintain accurate customer records
  • Monitor and measure performance of direct reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention 
  • Gather feedback from customers and communicate it to product and marketing teams
  • Host product demos and represent the company at trade fairs and other industry events

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • 2+ years of experience in SaaS or Channel full sales cycles 
  • Experience with managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Experience leading and motivating sales teams
  • Experience developing relationships with new customers
  • Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment within the FinTech or SaaS sectors
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and winning new business
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel
