We are hiring a Brokerage Specialist to provide brokerage and marketing support to brokers. The Brokerage Specialist will primarily focus on managing the deal process and providing business development support. To succeed in this role, you will need to have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of internal and external clients at all levels of the organization. A qualified candidate will also be detail-oriented, customer service oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interact with companies and brokers through multiple communication channels
  • Create relationships with existing and new brokerage carriers
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with a high sense of urgency
  • Review submission documents received and prepare additional information as needed
  • Prepare quotations for clients and answer inquiries from clients and prospects
  • Review requests for cancellation and endorsements
  • Review policies for renewal consideration and remarketing
  • Assist in the creation and editing of presentation materials including flyers, proposals, case studies, and email blasts
  • Collaborate with internal marketing professionals and external vendors to determine what marketing material is required
  • Take part in the collection and preparation of data
  • Manage and update the client database
  • Facilitate meetings and manage active calendars for brokers
  • Coordinate marketing, research, and financial analysis efforts
  • Maintain and organize records, files, and documents including confidentiality agreements, leases, contracts, listing agreements, and closing documents
  • Prepare expense reports and reconcile credit card charges
  • Update the sales pipeline and electronic property listings
  • Represent the company in marketing visits to clients and at industry events

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in administrative marketing
  • Experience in commercial real estate or a related field
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience in standard underwriting practices and procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and policies
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce
