We are looking for a Business Analyst to serve as a liaison between multiple business units and technology teams within our organization. This role will document stakeholder requirements, measure and monitor process efficiency, and develop and manage projects. In addition, they will coordinate implementation, testing, training, and communication with vendors and multiple business groups. This is a business-facing and technology-facing role, requiring excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to create alignment between multiple parties.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to build constructive and effective relationships
  • Drive identification of requirements across business units
  • Ensure business processes are understood, documented, and fit the needs of the organization
  • Create and implement management plans for projects
  • Map processes from current to future state, define business and tech requirements and scope, and champion change to business stakeholders and development teams
  • Support technology teams in translating business requirements to detailed stories and tasks for development teams 
  • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate IT system requirements
  • Maintain system processes, including the delivery of regular status reports to all appropriate parties
  • Conduct system analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
  • Assist with testing system changes and analyzing data flows 
  • Break down technical complexities to be easily understood by end users
  • Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis
  • Experience in analytics and systems development
  • Experience translating stakeholder requirements into technical specifications
  • Experience generating process documentation and reports
  • Experience in process mapping and group facilitation
  • Experience in data gathering and analysis
  • Proficiency in MIcrosoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Salesforce or other cloud-based solutions
  • Knowledge of JIRA or Azure DevOps
