We are looking for a Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between our marketing and sales teams. The main responsibility of this role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful as our Business Development Representative, you should have proven experience meeting sales quotas and developing leads from marketing campaigns. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Perform high-level discovery calls
  • Conduct deep market research to identify key players in the market
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Conduct customer surveys and develop sales strategies
  • Prepare commercial and pricing documents
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products and services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities
  • Coordinate meetings between prospective clients and account executives

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role
  • Experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls
  • Experience meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Experience with generating or nurturing sales leads
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of sales performance metrics
  • Knowledge of business processes and sales techniques
  • Knowledge of how to interpret P&L, earnings, and inventory reports
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
