We are looking for a Creative Director to provide guidance to our creative teams and launch impressive new projects. This role will devise concepts and strategies, implement their creative vision, and serve as the point of reference for any creative plans.They will play an essential role in developing guidelines, leading teams, and directing creative work across our organization. Our ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader who can maximize the talents of our teams, and will bring extensive experience and professional judgment to the planning and execution of our projects. 

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee the development of company advertisements
  • Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines, and strategies for various creative projects
  • Collaborate with account executives to learn client or campaign requirements
  • Work with executives and other creative leaders to set project deadlines and content goals
  • Lead brand campaigns and oversee the creation of all creative content
  • Lead brainstorming and creative sessions to generate ideas
  • Direct and motivate teams of art directors, illustrators, copywriters, and other creative professionals 
  • Oversee the design layout and visual impact of marketing materials, products, and publications
  • Write and design unique and well-crafted copy that meets clients’ and business needs
  • Supervise work completed by the creative department
  • Revise content and presentations and provide feedback to the creative team
  • Present project information, including deadlines and budgets, to executives and clients
  • Recruit and train team leads and managers
  • Oversee the creative budget

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, design, or a related field 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Portfolio of related work or projects
  • 7+ years of professional experience in advertising, marketing, graphic design, or a similar creative field
  • 5+ years of experience in management or leadership 
  • Experience creating advertisements for social media and other online outlets
  • Experience with multiple types of content, including written copy, photographs, videos, and graphics
  • Experience creating digital assets through storyboarding
  • Experience with brand development
  • Experience with creative strategy development 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of design, copy, and web best practices and guidelines
  • Knowledge of multi-channel marketing concepts
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail 
  • Strong project management skills 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with our industry
