Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and tools to support our applications and services
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure efficient and reliable deployment, monitoring, and scaling of systems
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process
  • Utilize infrastructure as code principles and configuration management tools to maintain consistent and reliable environments
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with clients and leadership to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot and fix various environment or customer issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and infrastructure automation

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with containerization technologies and container orchestration platforms
  • Experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Experience implementing secure DevOps pipelines
  • Experience with automation software such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell
  • Knowledge of infrastructure security best practices
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
