The Director of Engineering at Voltage tapped Redfish Technology for help in finding an automation engineer for the mobile mail product team. The search was started for an experienced automation engineer to work in a small company environment to deliver mobile mail automated applications and test across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated to work with a creative team in an Agile/Scrum environment, embrace learning new technologies, and solve complex problems.
Usman Shafique has specialized in security technology for the last five years, with a focus on software testing and quality assurance. His most recent position was dedicated to automated testing and he led a small team to design automation frameworks for UI and API testing. He worked extensively with Python and the Robot Framework and is experienced in Waterfall/Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), QA Methodologies and Strategies including black-box, grey-box, API testing, functional, integration, and regression testing. Usman earned a Master of Science in Software Engineering and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He is highly efficient, as well as creative and passionate about his work.
